The FlexGain 19"/6U chassis is a high quality subrack accommodating any mix of FlexGain and FlexDSL modules. Due to the chassis' passive architecture there is no single point of failure. Power is provided by a separate, redundant power module  (nominal 48VDC), occupying a single slot. Various management modules allow local, telnet and SNMP management. The chassis is based on front access architecture, therefore, all interface and cable connections to the chassis are made from the front side.

Internal 5 Port 10/100Mbps Ethernet Switch

The dual slot FlexGain chassis houses up to two standard FlexDSL Ethernet modules, such as the famous 2 or 4 wire SHDSL Discovery modules. The chassis has an integrated 5 port Ethernet switch that operates at speeds of 10 and 100Mbps, while offering the possibility to be interconnected to large scale Ethernet switches by offering a separate uplink port. The chassis provides front access and is available with 24VDC or 48VDC power. The chassis has been designed to be deployed in typical industrial applications such as used for railways and pipelines.

The universal single slot FlexGain chassis houses any FlexGain and FlexDSL module. The chassis can be powered by 220VDC and 48VDC, providing redundancy. The chassis has been designed for professional use in harsh environments.
